Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this cource because of my jee rank. Overall, the course is good, ECE is an evergreen branch. Faculties are good and phd qualified. Sometimes you need to study a subject on your own but that is fine. But if one listens to proffesors in class, and study sometime regularly, it is easy to crack exams.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

students become eligible at the start of the 7th semester. Almost all big companies visit our college for placements as well as internships. Last time the highest placement was given by apple at 64 lakhs. others are amazon, adobe texas instrument, Goldman, oracle, de shaw, etc. According to the placement report available on mnit site, the average placement of ece is 18. around 97 % of students were placed in ece. And around 88% overall. My plan is to get an IT job.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is around 80k per semester without hostel or mess charges. Scholarships are for people with income below 1 lakh(100% waiver) and 4.5-5 lakh(66% waiver). Apart from that full scholarships for SC/ST, and PWD candidates.

Campus Life

Many fests are conducted. Major one blitzslag which is conducted in February. The library has many books related to studies. No issues with that. The classrooms are also good, and clean. We have 2 whiteboards (also 2 projectors on them) and one center green board. Sports events also keep going, you can take part in whichever sport you want. There are a lot of clubs running in college like Think India, Marvicks, etc.

Admission

You need to give jee exam, and then mnit Jaipur will be allowed based on your jee rank. There is a reservation for many social groups. My jee rank was about 12-13k, I am enrolled in ece engineering at mnit Jaipur.

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
