Course Curriculum Overview

At an early age, I am very Curious about machines and I wanted to know how an engine ran and worked. So that reason I join mechanical engineering. In mechanical engineering, there are near about 20 faculty and the number of students is 400. All faculty are highly educated and all are qualified for m-tech and PhD. Every month last week exams are held and those exams are easy to pass.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

The placement in our college is very good. After 6-semester college allows students to attend the campus placement. The company visited our college like TATA advance system, JSW, GOLD PLUS, YOKOHAMA, WIPRO, etc. About 70 per cent of students get placed in campus requirements. Y plan to get a job in a reputed company after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very simple the course fee is 60000 and if you stay in a hostel then the hostel fee is 40000. The student can apply for scholarships like state scholarships and centre scholarships etc. The college provides campus jobs that are very good.

Campus Life

The campus life in our college is awesome and the whole campus is eco Friendly. There are so many fiction and tech fest conducted by our college like freshers party, hackathon, exotika etc. In the library, all types of books are available that are required by the student. The classroom is very nice and all the classrooms are central ac. Social groups like entrepreneur groups, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels in our college are very good and there are two types of rooms available in our colleges like ac hostel room and non-ac. That depends upon the student and what type of room they choose. The meal and food menu are very nice. The hostel registration process is very simple first you fill out the hostel staying form in the hostel management section then they allow you to stay in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Admission processes are based on jee main and ojee rank. I found the admission date and application in our college portal. there is no type of reservation. Yes the admission process is very slow and if improve the admission process then the student are very helpful

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
