Remarks

The college has gained a lot of reputation over a period of time due to the quality of education, provisions and in terms of learning experiences as well as exposure to students. The college is a vast platform of knowledge allowing and helping students approach to faculty and discuss about their interests and field. Also it focusses on the background of the students if they are from hotel management, commerce and management studies.

Entrance Preview

Taking admission to PGDM course in the college is not a tough job. The course is open to all candidates who have acquired a bachelor degree with 3 years of minimum duration from a UGC recognized university. The minimum marks should be 45% in graduation and class 12th. Work experience is also counted and gets you added marks during the selection of the candidates. Personal interview round is very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The PGDM course shall be of 2 years i.e. 24 months divided into 4 semesters and one internship programme. The student has to take a research project in every semester which also contains a lot of credits. The students must take this project very seriously. The students take two specialization courses out of so many options during the final year of the PGDM course. Two types of specialization opted by students are major and minor.

Campus Life

The whole campus is eco-friendly and classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners and internet connectivity as well as advanced audio and video facilities. The classrooms are designed to ensure clear visibility and audibility to all students of the college. The library of the college is internet enabled with over 14000 books as well as research papers and periodicals on various management and technology topics and a separate audio video section. The whole campus is wifi enabled with minimum downtime period.

The college is the hybrid of experienced and well trained faculty along with expertise teaching methodologies and a unique path to overall development. My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. A must needed college review

the other colleges i have applied for were NL Dalmia, Wellingkar and Deakin University apart from VBS. I was rejected from Deakin as i was not able to crack the PI and welingkar was not offering me the course i wanted and NL Dalmia offer letter came too late. the most preferred exam is cet and cmat and one should get atleast more 60% to be eligible for the same....Read More

I applied to many colleges like NL Dalmia, welingkar, great lakes, flame university, kj somaiya, nmims and got a confirmed admission call from NL dalmia, flame and kj.
