Remarks

My overall experience of 2 years in this college was very good. I would recommend this college to all the students who are willing to pursue for this course/programme. The college also has a very well furnished campus with residential like facilities for all the students, faculties and staff members of the college. A lot of events are celebrated in the college throughout the year and that's the best part of the college life.

Entrance Preview

The college used to change the pattern every year so that only the best students are able to crack the exam and get the admission in the college. Entrance exam is usually tough and I had to work very hard and prepare a lot to be able to score good marks in the entrance. The college also conducted two rounds of evaluation, one was group discussion round and the other one was the personal interview round.

Placement Experience

The college has a very good relations with the corporate sector and a lot of tie-ups with the leaders of those corporate companies who comes every year in our college to taste the fresh blood talent of the students. They offer such a good package that no student has been able to negotiate or decline the offer made by these top leading companies. 100% placement record was achieved by the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are available for all the boys and girls of the college. The rooms are available in room sharing basis and individual basis. Different pricing has been set for AC rooms and non AC rooms and if the students want any extra facilities, they are charged for it in advance. Proper security is offered in the hostel so that the students can remain safe and protected. Students must follow the hostel timings very cautiously to avoid any kind of troubles.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Exam Structure

The course includes certain subjects like operations management, communication skills, database management system and information system, international business, corporate law and a lot other subjects that are made compulsory/mandatory for all the students. The exam structure consists of internal and external examinations and some projects and assignments, presentations and reports. Internship programme also contains credits in the examination grading pattern.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. A must needed college review

the other colleges i have applied for were NL Dalmia, Wellingkar and Deakin University apart from VBS. I was rejected from Deakin as i was not able to crack the PI and welingkar was not offering me the course i wanted and NL Dalmia offer letter came too late. the most preferred exam is cet and cmat and one should get atleast more 60% to be eligible for the same....Read More

I applied to many colleges like NL Dalmia, welingkar, great lakes, flame university, kj somaiya, nmims and got a confirmed admission call from NL dalmia, flame and kj.
