Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I am from a commerce background, this course will be easy and effective to understand for me, not only for me but also who share the same background that is commerce, and moreover, the package provided by this college in this course is pretty well amazing. If talked about the faculty ratio then it will be 2:80 for one subject for example say accounts. The teaching method adopted by the teachers of college is beyond the imagination as all the teachers are highly qualified and they teach amazingly very well. The internals and semester exams are conducted very punctually i.e on the dates issued by the university.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college basically does not provide internships but they collaborate with third parties and those parties offer internships in our college. I am currently enrolled in the internship which is about imparting skills necessary for sitting in placements. So the efforts by this college in terms of providing internships are not up to the mark.

Placement Experience

4

The students of the 6th semester which means the 3rd year are eligible for campus placements. The companies like TCS, EY, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, ERNST, and many more companies have visited our college with offering a number of packages. The highest package offered was 32 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA depending on the course. The placement rate is not 100 %, if one has to seek admission then he/she has to face a lot of competition. After I complete my graduation from this college I will be appearing for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my course are different depending on the categories. The cost to study is worth it and talking about scholarships, there are many opportunities provided by this college, for example, students whose family income is below 4 lakhs per annum will get a partial refund of their fees. Jobs on campus are like it is not a cup of coffee, u have to learn various skills, be very good in academics, etc.

Campus Life

3.5

Not only there is an annual fest but also various short fest and events conducted by this college every month like film fare fest, history fest with very very important chief guests like recently former chief justice of India, IRS officer, governor of Uttarakhand visited our college as special chief guest. The library of our college is very huge with the availability of different kinds of books. The ground of our college is big among all the other colleges lying on the campus and in terms of sports, there are many opportunities to be availed. The most interesting fact about this college is the societies, U will find various societies like civil service society, social entrepreneurship society, fashion society, department society, NSS, NCC, start-up society, dance society, meme society, and many more. These societies will have you in your self-development and building your overall personality.

Admission

My current course is B.Com prog but I preferred B.Com Hons, if anyone wants to seek admission in my college or university then one has to appear for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for my course are MATHS/ACCOUNTS + ECONOMICS+ BUSINESS STUDIES + ENGLISH LANGUAGE, these are the subjects that I have chosen for my entrance exam I will be discussing them further in detail. The name of the exam is CUET[Common University Entrance Test]. I have given my exam in August 2022 and my classes started in November, to check about this exam more thoroughly visit cuet.samarth.ac.in there u will get the dates of the next exam dates, registration dates, and fees. According to my personally, there should be one improvement in this admission process that is the exam should be conducted on one single day for the same course appearing students because it was conducted on various different days with different difficulty levels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
