My college

My Course was Computer Engineering. I chose this course because it was the top branch in the college and my rank allowed me to take it. Moreover, it had the best placement stats. The faculty-to-student ratio is good and is around 1:20.All the faculties are highly qualified but some of them are students of Ph.D. and MTech. The term exams are held after every 4-5 months after the new term starts. The exams are of moderate to difficult level.

Many companies like GOOGLE, Microsoft, Atlassian, Visa, and Adobe (around 45 companies) visit colleges and offer intern for SWE, SDE, SRE, product engineering, and a few other roles. The stipend ranges from 50k-2lac per month. The projects are mostly company-based experiments in certain fields and are mostly confidential.

Students become eligible after the completion of 3rd year. There are more than 450 companies that I know visited the campus including Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package (domestic) offered is 86 lac CTC as an SWE by Atlassian. The average package is 22 lac CTC. there are no international offers generally on campus. Around 80% of total students placed. I would join as an SWE after getting my degree.

The total fees per semester are between 2 lac to 2.3 lac for Indian students. The fee cost of the college is high considering it is a government college. The cost to study is average to high in this college for a middle-class family. Yes, the college provides scholarships to the students based on their academic skills and based on the financial condition of the family of the student. I can't announce my stipend due to my college policy but it's a good one.

The annual fest moksha is conducted in our college every year and is our main cultural fest mostly in the month of March. There are many books in Library (almost everything that you need]. There are separate grounds for football, courts for volleyball and tennis, Cricket Pitches, etc. Some of the famous clubs of NSUT are Ashwamedh (dramatic club), crescendo (music), Junoon (photography), etc.

The eligibility criteria are that you should have at least 75% in class 12th CBSE board exams. Then you can give JEE mains exam. The admission is mostly based on the JEE mains rank. You have to clear a cutoff to qualify for the exam. You will get branches on the basis of your rank. The application form is available on JEE main's official website. Application fees and the date of the exam varies time to time. The admission process is good.
