College infrastructure is much better than the syllabus of pune University. College management is good.
Entrance Preview
JEE was the entrance exam for qualification in engineering admission. I scored 60 marks in JEE and 70 percent in state board exam. I liked the college campus hence I choose it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Beside academics, there are competitive exams and sports competitions for encouraging the students. There are various events of tectonics and karandak for students personality development. Also the industrial visit increase the interest in studies. In case of practicals in acedamics for pune University the we have to study only of about syllabus and not many more. So its not the problem of college.
Internships Opportunities
No our college doesn't provides internship programme for the students. Students can apply for internship for their own in any company. College is giving permission for all students to Carry out their internship programme wheresoever they grab the opportunity
Placement Experience
Generally the students having aggregate percent above 60 are eligible for the placement programme. Generally the placement rate is about 10% as the placement of sinhgad institutes takes place at a time at one place of all engineering colleges. Averagely the package is of 3 lakh for the placement.
College Events
In our college there are two main events. One karandak which is at institute level and the other one is tectonics which is at college level. Various events like cultural activities, competitions
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for open candidate Is about 87,000 which in average range for everyone. Fee structure is feasible for students. Not more expensive. And if you are in cast then fee structure is near to 2000. Poor families can't afford their children to study here if they are in open category.
Fees and Financial Aid
No according to there is no such scholarship provided by the college for the students. Students can apply for student loan in the banks.
Campus Life
In case of campus, sinhgad institutes Vadgaon campus is the best campus amongst all the colleges in pune. Campus consists of all kind of colleges, schools, grounds, activity Hall, hostels, mess facility, library, swimming pool and many more. The grand event karandak is most enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is the best facility in the college campus and in the near area. Only the problem is about mess facility that the students get bor by eating the mess food daily. But if we thik in case of money then the mess is also the good one because except at hostel mess we can't get any annual mess in 20,000
Alumni/Alumna
When there are competitions at institute level, there is politics by senior judges who are either teachers or HODs of the resp. Colleges. Otherwise the interaction with senior students is fine.
Exam Structure
Exams makes the life more busy. Exams and assignments and submissions frustrate more. There are prelim exams before the University exams. There are exams every month because of which the schedule becomes very busy. In case of practical, only practicals from university syllabus are taken.
Admission
After filling the kit for DTE Maharashtra at DTE centre college , I was eligible for the engineering admission. Then the date for filling college names was announced. Then there was 1st round, similar procedure was for 2nd and 3rd Round. My name was in 1st round so I took admission within the given time for admission other we are not eligible for the admission in 1st round. And then we have to apply for 2nd round.
Faculty
Mostly the eighty percent faculty of our college has experience of about 5_6 years of teaching and rest of It are senior teachers. Teachers are friendly with students, so it's easy to ask doubts for the problems raised while teaching.
