Everything about studying at Banasthali Vidyapeeth

I always wanted to pursue a career in technology. That's why I have chosen Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering from Banasthali Vidyapeeth. The faculty of engineering in our college is quite good, experienced and really helpful. Teachers are qualified, humble, and cooperative. In the mid-semesters, we have two periodical tests every semester followed by assignment submission. Also, it's not a very difficult part to pass in mid-semesters and even end semesters. You can easily study one day before periodical exams to get passing marks but should start preparing at least 10 days before the end-semester exams.

Many companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, DRDO, Walmart, Cisco, etc come for summer internships in the month of July. Students in starting of 3red year can apply for internships and get amazing stipends from 25k-50k per month once selected. You have to appear for more than one round including one coding round, one technical interview, etc. to be qualified for the internship. You have to make a good resume with some amazing projects in it to get selected.

Companies started visiting campus and hiring students from the 7th semester. Many companies like Infosys, Walmart, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and Wipro come every year to hire students from CS, IT, and other BTech branches. The package offered starts from 2.5 lakhs and goes up to 30 lakhs. 90% got placements every year for the CS branch with an average package of 5 lakhs. Many students opt for higher studies also.

Fees are quite moderate and affordable for most parents. Some students who couldn't afford the fee can go through several scholarship schemes launched by Vidyapeeth itself. One can easily get financial assistance if he/ she belongs to the family of staff/workers/ faculty members. Moreover, in CS and IT, an internship with an amazing stipend starts hiring on campus in 3rd year. Many of our college students got hired by companies like Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Cisco, etc.

Apaji Mela is conducted every year with great enthusiasm on our college campus. This fest is organized in the month of November and the campus is beautifully decorated with so many colorful lights, amazing rides, food stalls, and shops including cosmetics, jewelry, etc. everything is available for the students giving them the whole Rajasthani culture experience. Talking about the availability of books, there are many departmental libraries present on our campus. Moreover, there is one central library which is open till 8 at night and it covers the books of all the departments. The amenities and facilities in classrooms are okay with fans, board, Mike, smart class, etc. Banasthali provides all-round development for students by introducing a five-fold development program in which you can take part in any of the following activities like swimming, dancing, yoga, aerobics, horse riding, NSS, NCC, etc. There are various social clubs and societies for students to take part in actively and socially.

Rooms are quite normal with moderate facilities. You need to buy an extra fan, especially in summer. There are basic amenities provided by the hostel so rooms are just comfortable with no fancy stuff. The meal served is soo so mostly healthy but not good in taste. On Tuesdays, we get some sweet dishes with the meal. Once you are called to join the course, you will get a hostel allowed as soon as your fees deposition and admission process is done. Also, in banasthali Vidyapeeth, the hostel is compulsory for each and every student until and unless he/she is a child of any villager/ staff member/ worker/faculty residing inside campus only.

As per the eligibility criteria, the student should be 12th passed with PCM course and 60% minimum. Moreover, the application for admission is easily available on the Banasthali Vidyapeeth website you can easily search this website on Google. Normally, the application forms starts available from May- June. About reservation criteria, you can confirm by calling in Vidyapeeth office. The admission process at the university is quite good and smooth. Once your application is submitted, you would be informed about the admission test as soon as possible.
