Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in mechanical engineering that's why I joined mechanical engineering. The faculty here don't have any connection with students they just teach and go, the professors are highly qualified, for each semester we have a mid sem 30% and end sem 50% and the other 20% is in the hands of the professors

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The students can get an internship program from 2nd year of their 4-year journey from many different companies and many different countries. The Ph.D. and MTech students here get international internships.

Placement Experience

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for college placement. There are many noncore companies visiting here like Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, and also core companies like Tata, reliance. Almost 90% of students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are high approximately 1lakh for each semester. There are many scholarships available here in both online and offline modes with certain eligibility criteria an nd buddy4 you,ffe scholarships like

Campus Life

Life here at the net is osm. The infrastructure of the campus is so beautiful that u will be mesmerise its by beauty. The con is the attendance here which is 87% and is very strict. The girl's hostel timing is flexible

Hostel Facilities

There are 8 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel and one married couples hostel. The rooms are very small, they just put 2 beds in a single-seater room and the paint on the walls is coming out. There are many varieties of food but you will not get hygiene

Hostel Fee: INR 44000 per year

Admission

For admission, you have to give jee and apply for josaa counseling. You can find the application on jee official website the application fee is around 600 for males and 300 for females and reserved students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

NIT ROURKELA THE ACTUAL REVIEW

I had a choice for chemical engineering in NIT Calicut,kerala my home state but i was not interested in chemistry so I dropped that choice and preferred electrical engineering in NIT Rourkela because choosing this would be more related to core and computer field which also was the one I was interested in.
