Course Curriculum Overview
I had 2 years of experience in Insurance and as Insurance is the fastest growing industry that's why I selected this course NIA, Pune is the premier institute of Insurance. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. And bring with them huge work experience and Insurance knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Everyone gets an internship on the campus itself course starts in July and students start getting placed in September everyone gets placed around December though the internship starts in May next year for 2 months.
Placement Experience
Students started getting placed in August last year the entire batch got placed within 2 hours with an average student of 12.5+ lakh and around 25% of the batch had PPO. Once you become part of NIA and give your efforts placement is something that is not of concern at all.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given to students based on their academic achievement at the end of 2 years. It's in the form of over academic CGPA along with it there is subject-wise scholarship as well for a few specific subjects.
Campus Life
MANTHAN is the annual fest of the college. Which happens every year in February. There are more than 50K books in the library and subscriptions to all major journals are also available. Classes are well equipped with all the required facilities and the campus has all the major sports facilities.
Hostel Facilities
In our room, we have all the necessary facilities. Food is the major USP of the college because it's really good. Hostels are allotted through consent. Student needs to give their consent to opt for the hostel and in case of student choose to not go for the hostel there are many good PG which are available nearby.
Admission
To be eligible for the course aspirant needs to have 3 things: Graduation with more than 50%, CMAT or CAT scores, and Age should be less than 28 years. Once you become eligible and get shortlisted you need to go through GDP/PI.
Interview Experience
GD topics were mostly revolving around current topics and there were a few abstract topics as well. The admission team also took WAT as well. To prepare for the round kept myself updated with the current happening and had a few mock PI.
