Remarks

I love this college and I'm so happy to be here. Really enjoying my life here. College life is undoubtedly the best, this I experienced within a few days of getting into DTU. It is an amazing college with lots of opportunities.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Main, JEE Advanced and BITSAT. I had a lot of options to choose from but I chose DTU and I'm so glad I did that. That's because this college has a lot of opportunities for the students. Being in Delhi, the social life in this college is awesome. So is the infrastructure. Also, students get a lot of time to pursue whatever they want apart from the curriculum. Admission is through JAC Delhi Counselling. Every info is available on their website.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The syllabus of all first year students is same so that everyone gets a basic knowledge of all the branches. After that, the syllabus is based on what branch you are in. This is a good thing and it should stay the same. Although i don't like studying subjects unrelated to my branch, but it's for the best of students. By studying about every field, they get to know what actually interests them, and then they can pursue the same afterwards

Internships Opportunities

This college has amazing internship and placement opportunities. This is also one of the reasons why I chose to come here.

College Events

4

This college has a lot of annual events taking place almost all the time. There are tech fests, hackathons, cultural fests, sports fests, festival celebrations, casual parties, etc. You'll get almost every fun thing here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't have a lot of knowledge about fee structure. But it is almost same as normal fee of all the colleges, not more, not less.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does provide with such facilities but I have no idea till date.

Campus Life

4

Big and nice campus with the best roads in India, Lots of greenery along with lots of facilities, Located in Rohini so you can roam around in Delhi and have a nice social life.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are fun. You get to do a lot of stuff here. There is gym and sports complex which you can use whenever you want. The food is a not so good. Of course you can never get the same taste as your mom's food. But still, it can be improved a lot and it should be. If you weigh the food and fun, fun dominates, and hostel life

Exam Structure

The difficulty level in internal exams is fine. You don't have to spend all your time in studies. That's what i love about this college. You can pursue your dreams and still do fine in exams. And yes, we get our results on time. But sometimes, we don't get to see our answer sheets. I'm ok with that.

Faculty

3

The faculty here is just like that of all the government colleges. Some of the professors are very nice. They try to make us understand everything. I don't have any favourite because we never get to know them on a personal level. I would like to do that but I don't think they can do that with hundreds of students.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
