3rd oldest college with very good campus life and Internship and Placement opportunities.

I was interested in computer science so I opted for this course. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:20. Faculties are mostly highly qualified and are good at teaching. Most of them are Ph.D. from good higher studies national and international institutes. Talking about the term exams, In one semester, there is one mid-sem exam, one end-sem exam, and 2 quizzes generally depending on the subject. the difficulty level of the exams is mostly medium to hard level.

The internship opportunities are very good at IIT ISM. I have got an internship at Walmart. The companies providing opportunities are Google, Sprinklr, Uber, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, etc. Talking about stipends and roles, Google provides a 1,10,000 per month stipend for the SWE role, Amazon provides 1,10,000 For the SDE role, and Sprinlr provides 200000 per month for the product engineer role. Walmart Provide 100000 per month for the SDE role. Goldman Sachs provides 1,60,000 per month for an analyst role. Uber provides 1,60,000 for the SDE role.

The Placements at IITISM are very good. The placement starts in December in the 7th semester. This year on day 0 and day 1 and including the pre-placement offers total of 540 students are placed and the count is still increasing in phase 2 of the placement (currently running). in pre-placement offers, the median salary offered was 30 lakhs. and for overall placements, it is 17 lakhs. The major companies hiring are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, etc. According to the treads of previous years, At the end around 900 students are placed and for the CSE branch, the placement percentage is 100%. I have currently got A summer Internship offer at Walmart. and I want to get PPO at Walmart and want to become a Software developer at a tech giant.

The total fee structure contains 1,23,400 Rs per semester. this contains 1,000,00 Rs. tuition fees, 15000 mess+hostel fees, and other fees. The students can get benefit from different scholarships also according to their overall GPA and financial conditions. the students with an overall family income under 100000 get a 100% tuition fee waiver. the students who have an overall family income under 500000 get a 66.66% tuition fee waiver. and also any student having an income under 600000 and GPA above 6.5 get MCM Scholarship.

The Campus life at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is very good. the Whole campus is full of greenery. talking about the annual fest Srijan, which is the greatest in eastern India, Which comes in February. The annual Tech fest Concetto, Which comes in October, is a very good techno-social fest, where there are many Technical events. Many students from other colleges also come for attending the fest. The library of IIT (ISM) is Asia's 2nd largest technical library. all kinds of Tech books are present in the library. Library also provides some primary subscriptions of books to all students. Talking about the clubs and sports activities, There are many clubs and societies formed for various sports and various social activities like photography (Fotofreaks), videography ( Lights Camera ISM), Drama ( Abhay Dramatics Club), arts and drawing ( Artfreaks), etc.

There are many Big Hostels on campus. There is also one new hostel building of around 2000 student capacity. Inside the room of the hostel, it is for 2 students. In the room, there is a 24-hour internet LAN facility of very high speed. Although in older hostels, The rooms are a little small for 2 students, in newer hostels, it is very good. Talking about the mess, the mess provides morning breakfast, lunch, snacks in the evening, and dinner of good quality. there are 2 special dinners in one semester. The hostel fee is included in college fees.

For admission to IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, I gave Jee advanced exam and got AIR 1998 and got CSE branch. The admission process contains the following steps after giving jee advanced exam. first will have to go through the josaa counseling process and will have to fill priority orders of colleges. and would get a college in 5 rounds. we can freeze the college in between the rounds. There are also category benefits and benefits for girls.
