Course Curriculum Overview

I am preparing for the banking exams, so I choose this course, as this is related. It's a government college, so it's quite difficult to guess the ratio of students because the number of students is too much. The teaching method is offline here. Exams are conducted here per semester here.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 1100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As I mentioned that it's a full government college affiliated with kolhan university, so the fees or cost of the study is very low here. The total cost of a graduation degree is approx 5000 including admission fees and examination fees. Yes, here we get scholarships for SC, ST and OBC category students. The name of the scholarship programme is E Kalyan.

Campus Life

There are many times in a year when the college is conducting annual fest like the cultural programme, annual function day, freshers welcome day, Vasant Panchami celebration and many more. Here is a library with the availability of all types of books related to our subjects. NSS is a group which is run by our college students.

Admission

Eligibility is to take admission under graduate students have to pass 12th or intermediate in related to their subject. We can easily find the application form on the website of kolhan university named chancellor portal. From there we can apply the form for ug. Yes, we got reservation benefits for students of SC, ST and OBC.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

A glimpse of my college life.

I preferred this college out of all the other colleges because whatever subject which I was opting for was best taught here. Not only that, all the other colleges stand no where in comparison to it. The teacher here at least come to the campus and teach something. But in other colleges, the teachers don't even come. There's only a one percent chance of the teachers to conduct classes. There is no discipline and no proper way of maintaining the facilities. Other colleges of our area only focus on organising events rather than teacher. I did not face rejection from any of the colleges which I had applied to. But, found the current one a perfect match for my requirement. At first, in order to get an admission in the university, a student has to fill in a form online at the chancellor portal. Then after a month the college issues the provincial list. After which the student has to go to the department and submit the documents along the the admission form filled online. Next the student has to self-attest all the documents and submit in the office for a stamp, again all these approved documents are to be brought to the department for another approval.
