The course is an integrated MSc and the Institute is funded by the both university of Mumbai and the department of atomic energy. Student: teacher ratio is so much satisfactory, each professor knows each student. The professors are mainly visiting professors from IIT Bombay, barc, tifr etc institutes.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are approx 8k per year. Everyone gets a Disha scholarship in this college. The amount is 5k per month and annually 20000 as a contingency grant. Otherwise, you can also avail of kept and dst inspire scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life is so much more enjoyable. Students of Mumbai university acknowledge them respectfully. Every year annual fest takes place. Indoor and outdoor games are available. There are quizzes, debates, dancing, singing, and an astrophysics group in this college.

Admission

To get into CEBS, You have to crack NEST Exam. The application form can be found on NEST exam website. Reservation is according to central rules. The admission process is totally online and corruption free.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
