Course Curriculum Overview
The PGDM program begins with a one-month-long Foundation module to smoothen the joining process and get everyone up to speed and on the same page since the batch has diverse backgrounds. From Term 1 the curriculum is tightly packed, there are many subjects with Group, Individual projects, assignments, quizzes, and a Final term exam for each of them, most subjects have 30 hours of classes scheduled for each of them, apart from the pre-reads of cases and prescribed text. The faculty is rich in experience and knowledge with both industries as well as academic experts.
Internships Opportunities
The major companies that visited the campus for internships were, Marico, Tata Consumer Products, Reckitt, Wipro CCL, Adani, Microsoft, Cisco, Pernod Ricard, and many more, the Highest stipend offered was 2L per month. There were plenty of roles available for each domain, the primary ones being Sales, Market research, and finance domain specific.
Placement Experience
The college provides campus placements, with the interviews for Summer internships taking place by the mid of the first trimester itself and the final placements in the fifth trimester. The placements for IMT-G have been growing consistently. The highest package for the 2021-23 batch was around 65.6 LPA and the average was 17.35 LPA. 150 + companies visited the campus. The batch recorded 100% placements with a pool of 475 students placed in 15 days.

The total fee was 1953000/- and the girl candidates get a scholarship of 25% on the tuition fees. Apart from this, the top 20 percentile students get a scholarship of 50000/- and the Toppers of each area of specialization get 100000/- each.
Campus Life
There is a large batch size, with students coming from diverse backgrounds. The batch is highly competitive and academically good. The annual fest of IMT-G is Passion which takes place around November/December. There are various student bodies comprising clubs and committees, the clubs are specialized and focused and committees are given responsibilities of various operational areas with a structured functioning. The classrooms are well laid out, with the best standards, air-conditioned, and intently designed for good class participation.
Hostel Facilities
Most rooms are with double occupants and some with single occupants. The rooms are air-conditioned and have windows, cupboards, beds, tables, and chairs available. The rooms are sufficiently spacious. The mess has good quality food with a menu updating every 15 days, there are 4 meals available every day Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. The program is a residential one so the admission, as well as the complete registration process, is the same.
Admission
Admissions into this college are allowed through CAT, XAT, and GMAT. I took CAT for admission, the cut-off for which is around 90-92 Percentile to get a call from IMT, although if a candidate has an exceptional profile or academics they do give opportunities to around 87-88 Percentile scoring candidates as well.
Interview Experience
The selection process consisted of WAT and Personal interviews. The topics for WAT were jumbled for all the candidates, the topic on which I had to write on was "Should the Indian cricket team have different captains for different formats of the game?". The WAT and PI took place on the same day, and the timing and dates were booked from available slots on a first come first serve basis. The Interview revolved around my profile, background and interests, some general hygiene, current affairs, and basic business domain questions and trivia about my interests.
