Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a software engineer so I chose the course and I have a great interest in coding. The teachers are very qualified and experienced, they helped the students very much. The exams are somewhat difficult

Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Last year the highest package was 3200000 and the package was given by Amazon. Deposit Amazon there are different countries from few of them are Infosys, Wipro tcs etc. Being a 2-year student I have less idea about it.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester, students can eligible for campus placement. Infosys Wipro tcs etc companies are come to place the students. 80 per cent of students got their placement for computer science from our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The is not that much price hike in the fee. I think the fees are budget-friendly for the students. You can have some scholarships from different websites from given some examinations. The university has some internships.

Campus Life

There also happened some annual festivals and teachers fest which happened in a month. There is also a library available which students can use free of cost. various kind of book is available in the library

Hostel Facilities

Wifi is available in the hostel rooms and in the classrooms. To fan, a cooler four desks and four beds are available in the hostel rooms. The wifi speed is somewhat slow. Four-time meals are given to the students

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

You have to have 75 percent marks in the higher secondary examination. You can find the registration form on the official website of the university you can find the date also. The improvement I want from the college is to inform the holidays to the students previously

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
