Course Curriculum Overview

I just want a good job without spending much time and cse is one of these streams nowadays. There are teaching faculty, management faculty, and cooking staff in the university. All the teaching faculty members are well-trained and easygoing. At the end sem the end-term examination is taken.

Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of companies offers internship to students especially Infosys and wipro visits for paid internships. About the role offered by the company is not well known to me. There is a startup system in the university.

Placement Experience

The placement system Is good. From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that visit chitkara at least 100+ companies visit every year. a few of them are Infosys, wipro etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 100000 in a semester of which 70000 is for academic fees and 30000 is for hostel fees with food and other facilities like medical etc. There is no scholarship policy in the university but you can have it by giving examinations on different websites.

Campus Life

Freshers' parties are held every year for the first-year student also different night parties are held at the university. To technical fest hackathon and workshops are held almost in every weak. Almost every book for the studies is available.

You don't have to give any entrance examinations you just have to fill out the registration form for admission. The admission form can be found On the official website of the university. You can find the admission date on the website.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi.
