Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I like to be a computer engineer. And now it is booming. Here the teacher-student ratio is 20:1. Qualification of faculty is all teacher's degrees is a doctorate. Timely exams are held and the pass is quite easy.

A good internship here. The average package is 6 lakhs p.a. Amazon is the best company visitor in my college. Others big companies also came like Infosys, wipro, etc. The best package is 43 lakhs from Amazon company.

Hostel Facilities

University provides hostel on campus, university under many hostels on campus, girls hostel, boys hostel, room provided college. One room 4 students in a boys hostel, 4 beds, 4 Almira, 4desk, and 4 chairs provided on the hostel. The hostel registration process, provided registration form online fill and fees paid hostel on provided room no PG is not available at a university near. PG available 18km. But PG is not a good option.

Hostel Fee: INR 66600 per year

Admission

The admission process is quite simple. Eligibility, of course, is in physics, maths and chemistry must be 50. The application form will be easily available on the college website. Here is no reservation. Your marks will be able to take admission.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
