VIT - AP

I chose this course because there is no doubt that computer science is going to be our future. The faculty-student ratio here in vit-ap is 1:18.65. All the teachers are highly qualified and professional. Every semester we have at least 3 exams. They are CAT1 CAT2 and FAT. CAT is the mid sems and FAT is the end sem. It's not that difficult to pass the exams but the papers are kind of hard if you dont study hard

A total of 627 students were placed. The highest salary offered here was INR 63 LPA and students received an average salary of 7.3 LPA. The top recruiters here are google, amazon, IBM and many more local and international companies

The highest international package offered was INR 63LPA. A total of 1175 offers were made during VITAP University placement 2022, out of which 246 were super dream offers and 354 were dream offers. The placement percentage here is 84.17%

Here the selected students are divided into 5 categories based n their ranks. As the category increases the fees also increase slightly. For eg for the first category, the fee is 1,76,000. for the second category, it is 2,35,000 and so on. I am in the third category in CSE core so my fees here cost 3,4,3000. Plus we have to give a security deposit of 15000 too as soon as you join the college.

VIT-AP is still developing so there are not so many things that you can enjoy. We do have facilities like rock climbing but that is also closed most the days. Every year we have 1 technical fest that is VTAPP and one cultural fest that is VTOPIA. Every Saturday we have a program organised from 4 to 6 to enjoy and take a break from the hectic schedule. For your information here the classes are from Tuesday to Saturday. Here Sunday and monday are given as holidays

We have two hostels for girls and 4 hostels for boys(1 is under construction). In lady's hostel, there are 4 bedded, 2 bedded rooms and 4 Bedded apartments. You are provided with a bed (mattress you will have to buy on your own), a study table, chair and cupboard. Every hostel has its own retail shop where you can find all your daily necessities. there are three messes here - veg mess, special mess, and non-veg mess. the only difference between the special mess and the rest two mess is that you get cereals and juice in the morning and soup in the evening. I personally suggest you no to choose a special mess. We have a night canteen too which is from 10:00 pm to 12:00 am in the night

For admissions, VIT doesn't accept the marks you scored in jee or any other exams. They conduct their own exam which is VITEEE. The syllabus is Class 11th and Class 12th. And you also have to get above 55% in your 12th grade.
