Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech ECE is a good course and it offers a good number of opportunities to students. Faculty: student is at about 1:20 in our branch. Faculties are well qualified from IIT, NIT, and IIIT with B Tech or Ph.D. There are two CT(Cycle Tests) per semester and one End Semester ends. That's why it is a little bit difficult to examine the schedule concerning NITs or IITs.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little bit high when compared with IITs and NITs. It is around 11,40,000 for Four years of B Tech (Including tuition fee and hostel fee). The scholarship is not available for any category in our institute. You have to apply for a scholarship from your state or NSP(National Scholarship Portal).

Campus Life

Campus Life is an awesome annual tech fest organized every year and they are organized nearly around October. Every kind of book and the latest journals are available in the library. You will be getting projectors and AC (Air conditioning ) in the classroom. Every kind of sport is available here like Indore games including carom, Badminton, Table tennis, and chess. Outdoor games include Cricket, football, Basketball, Lawn tennis, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good consisting of 3 seater rooms with 2 fans. Two mess are there consisting of veg and nonveg Separate. The hostel registration process is generally started 10-15 days before the commencement of the next semester. Hostels are located inside campus only.

Admission

Actually, This College takes admission through JEE, thus already its admission criteria are good enough. As there is no reservation for girls and home state, that's why we can find good diversity according to ethnicity in college but not due to gender. The cutoff varies from 20k to 40k for branches like CS, IT, and ECE

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
