PECFest, the official cultural festival of Punjab engineering college Chandigarh is held every year in the month of November. PECFest is one of the largest festivals held in north India. It is the most outstanding event held centrally in the beautiful city of Chandigarh. The library at PEC is nice in terms of the availability of books and reading space in AC as well as non-AC halls. It’s got a decent wi-fi connection and a peaceful environment. But it is not 24*7. It’s till 5 PM on normal days and till midnight during mid-term and end-term exams. Pec has a very good sports culture different types of sports are played. Apart from this there are lots of different clubs like Sasc, peb ,heb, Rotaract etc.

So the hostel fee for one year is around 69100 which does not include the mess bill, you have to separately give around 3500 every month as a mess bill. Room quality is average with one fan, one table one chair, one bed, and one almirah. And hostel facility is only for non-Chandigarh quota students only.
