I have chosen marketing as specialization and as a degree, it is a core MBA profile. The field should be chosen exclusively based on one's interests and future opportunities. The person's career and educational background influences the chosen specialization. IMTG has a faculty: student ratio of about 1:40which is good in the industry with professors and experts in their fields. The teachers are all Ph.D. holders. The method is a case study based which helps students learn from real-life scenarios along with practical importance given to roleplay and regular assignments. Term exams are once in 3 months with regular assignments and PPT. One gets thorough knowledge about the subject from reading and practically applying the skill. Difficulty depends on the preparation of the student and it's easy to score in exams but the marking is relative.

Many companies come regularly to the campus for SIP opportunities. Different types of roles are offered to range from core sales to management trainees. Roles come based on specializations in Marketing finance HR and operations. Stipend ranges from 10k to even 2lac per month based on the company and the roles.

Most of the students get PPO out of their SIP but as regular, the placements start by December in the second year, and generally, the whole batch gets placed within a short time. Many Top tier companies visit the campus as mentioned in the placement brochures like Microsoft, Dell, etc. The latest average package for full-time placements is around 15lpa with 100% batch placed. I am planning to opt for a consultancy job after doing my MBA and then regularly upskilling to get better opportunities.

All the study materials including the books and other subscriptions are provided by the institute at no extra cost. The fee is comparable to the other institutes in the same area or field. Different types of scholarships are provided for girls' education.

Passion is conducted by the student council of IMTG which is the management and cultural fest of the college. It is one of the best management fests at the national level. It is generally conducted in the month of December inviting different organizations and stars to perform. IMTG library is a high-tech library with all the known subscriptions available for students and other premium services. The catalog is regularly updated and suggestions are taken to add new books. The library is open 24*7. IMTG conducts Chakrvyuh its flagship sports fest which is famous all over India. Along with section wars and other sports activities are much appreciated. IMTG is a student-run college with a student council, and other clubs being part of it.

Hostels are fully AC functional and geysers are provided for winter It is a double sharing room for both years along with full college under Wifi. Housekeeping is available daily for cleaning purposes and one Nescafe outlet and one 24*7 canteen are available for late-night cravings. Mess is maintained by the student committee which ensures hygiene and regular updation of the menu. Food quality is good along with multiple choices. It is a fully residential program so one has to pay for the hostel fee which is included and is recommended to stay inside the college for all the activities.

CAT is conducted every year in November-December. It is a mental aptitude reasoning and English competency test which is generally of 2hrs and is objective type. Many mainstream MBA colleges accept CAT as an entrance exam. The application form for IMTG releases pre and post-CAT exams. You can expect a detailed form with all relevant details about your profile etc along with the main component the explanation of choosing that particular college.
