Course Curriculum Overview

My father is an IT professional and he inspired me to take the course also I have quite an interest in computers. At least 30 percent of students are in computer science. And there are different faculty members for different work. All the teaching staff is well qualified and very friendly.

Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Different companies visit to offer internships. A few of them are Infosys Wipro TCS. They offer students paid internships. About the roles, I have not had that much idea about them. Also, there is a Start up segment of our college students who can explore their potential in them.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd year, students can be sat for the campus placement with a specific cgpa. The requirement of the cgpa is usually above 8.5. The highest package given was 55 lakh till the date and the 32 lakhs were the highest packages in the last year The highest package was given by Amazon and other companies are Infosys Wipro TCS.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can have the fee structure from the official website of the college. You have to give the fees at the start of the semester through chalkpad 70k are for academic fees and 30k for hostel fees. There are no scholarship policies in the college but you can have them by giving different examinations.

Campus Life

If you want to enjoy there are different events and places to enjoy on campus. The college often helps with workshops and seminars About the library, there is a large stocked library at the university. There is a football ground a buckyball court a volleyball court table tennis court you can take a membership for them.

Hostel Facilities

Good hostel facilities are provided to the student. In a hostel room there are almirah study table char for each of the students and a cooler for summer you can also go for the ac hostels but you have to pay more. Meal quality is good enough and Verity of food can be seen.

Hostel Fee: INR 60300 per year

Admission

I just go to the college campus myself and get the admission form from the college campus. There is no eligibility for the course you just have to pass the previous board examination. You can contact the college or can visit the college campus on your own.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi.
