Through the eyes of student

I wanted to do MBA in the quality and quantity of job opportunities. So I am duly satisfied with it. The number of opportunities is quite high in this course. The faculty are trained. They have a good amount of corporate experience as well as teaching experience. The methodology taken is intriguing and engaging, and each student is promoted to present their views. There is a trimester system. Where one trimester lasts for 2 months. There is equal weightage for internal assessment and end-trim exams.

The internship opportunities are splendid where the students get quantity and quality opportunities. Much more than half of the batch is placed. There is diversity in terms of opportunities. For example for marketing the roles offered vary significantly like sales, market research, analysis, advertising, strategy, etc. There are some regular recruiters. The stipend ranges vary from unpaid to lakhs of monthly stipend.

The placements are good and increasing significantly. There are some regular visitors that keep on visiting every year. 171 recruiters have visited this year till now. Where the average salary is 12.23 lpa, and the highest package is 22.50 lpa. The 97% batch is placed so far. I plan to take placements from the college and build on that. The placements for the internship start during the month of September.

The fees are comparatively high compared to other b-schools. But in my personal opinion, it is justified as to the quality and quantity of opportunities provided. There are various big brands that collaborate with the college to facilitate learning. It might seem a little over but over time the results are fruitful. I did not apply for any scholarship, I am availing educational loan for the same.

Campus life is very exciting. I can practically say because I'm a hosteller here. There are various activities that take place, once the students join. They range from outbound activities to team-building activities. These activities prompt all the students to participate. The Annual Festival is Melange, which holds various competitions to cater to all the talents. It is weeks of ultimate engagement and entertainment. There are various clubs that engage in talent activities- music, dance, reading, etc. these clubs are active throughout and participate in various events as well as host various events

The hostel facilities are triple sharing, with facilities like an attached washroom and balcony. The rent is 177250 for one year. And the mess facility is 50000 for a year. The meal is provided four times a day, including breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. There are facilities for cold and hot water and necessary logistics in the washroom. Individual cupboards are provided to the students along with a study table.

The college accepts the score of different examinations- NMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. I got admitted through NMAT. The process started with releasing the shortlist for Personal Interview and Case Analysis. The process was facilitated by students as well as faculty. The Personal Interview was of approximately 20-30 mins long ranging from questions from current affairs and personal prior experiences. Then the Case Analysis was facilitated by 2 faculties. Where a case was given with a question at the end. I had to share my viewpoints on the same. Later there was cross-questioning and a fruitful discussion

There was Personal Interview and Case Analysis for the selection. It was very engaging and in-depth. The Personal Interview ranged from current affairs to prior experiences to educational knowledge. I prepared for the same by revisiting my graduation insights. And various pdf shared by the coaching institutes. These pdf were circulated in various groups. The case analysis didn't require any additional learning. It was just time-based test as to how articulate and structured a review one can present
