The process is pretty descriptive and the website is really helpful. Most of the verification is done online. I chose Mechanical Engineering because it is one of the best branches here at PDEA in terms of package.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, It depends on year on year basis. companies like goldman sachs, JSW, TCS visit campus for internship. However, in most of the cases students have apply off campus for internship as every student needs to undergo one semester industrial training which is a part of curriculum.
Placement Experience
The college has tie-up with with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc. which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and graduate students from all disciplines. Many big companies like Texas and Instruments, Microsoft, Amazon, DE shaw, Maruti, TATA, Reliance, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Amadeus Labs, Future's First, GE visit the campus with very high packages going upto 27 Lakhs per year.
Alumni/Alumna
Campus has alumni all over the world having very posts in various big organisations. PDEA receives regular funding from them and they are ever ready to help in anyway they can. Many of the companies come to PDEA because the of the help form the Alumni. The senior junior relationship is very good.
Faculty
The old faculty is very qualified and experienced. The quality of teachers has depreciated over the period of time. As these are some of the teachers are focused on what to teach but rather on how to reduce their workload.
