Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for my dream job i.e. civil services and, I am preparing from that day only. There is a lack of some faculties according to me there requires more faculty in comparison to students because there are only 3 faculty in my department and the total number of students is 150 in my college. But all faculties are well educated and well qualified in their field. Their behavior is very good. They interact with students in a good manner. And the way by which they teach all the concepts gets printed in our mind so it is not so tough to pass the exam and our exam goes well.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on government rules. It is not so high but there is no scholarship provided by University for students. The scholarship is given by the Bihar government which is only provided. There is no hostel facility in any college so you have to manage your own

Campus Life

There are many annual programs run by colleges and universities in different fields like sports, speeches, awareness, etc. There are many books available for every subject from every publication in college. But there is no own library of university it is running in Aryabhata knowledge university library on rent. There are many groups of students like NCC, NSS, and student unions like AISA, AISF, ABVP, etc.

Admission

There is no entrance exam at Patliputra University. It is based on the merit of the 12th. For this first Patliputra University invite students for admission in online mode on its official website in April or May. For this application, the fee is Rs. 300 only which is paid through a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. After this university releases 3 merit lists on basis of your preference provided by you after this you have to take admitted to the allotted college within a fixed period which is 3 to 4 days. After releasing all 3 merit lists if there are any seats in any colleges/departments vacant University invites for spot admission.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

Remarks:

The state open university follows the rule and regulations of UGC, so the fee structure is transparent and very much nominal which is also much lower than any other college in the state. The payment mode like bank draft, online payment etc. is easily accepted by the college. Cash payments is not acceptable.
