Course Curriculum Overview

There is a very good curriculum in vit Chennai and with the number of faculties and each faculty is very good and can teach in a way so that students can learn easily and they will provide books, ppts, and pdfs related to our topic.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

By the end of 4th year, many students get jobs before getting a job many students will do internships in a different types of companies like Infosys, Amazon, Google, etc and all these internships will be offered by the university.

Placement Experience

Many top companies in India and outside India are coming to visit to offer placements to the students. The highest package in 2020 is 41.6lpa,avg is 7.25lpa and it offers 100%placement to the students and some students in vit opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is completely based on our rank in the entrance exam conducted by the university. and the fees vary like 198k,300k, and 400k, based on our rank. and there are no scholarships. but if a student has less than 100k annual income the university will provide 45000 scholarships to the students. and regarding placements, I am still studying

Campus Life

Life in vit is very good and there are many clubs related to studies and also for sports. There is a big library with 3 floors so that there we can get many of books for the clubs there will be a website for registration or for any others happening in it

Hostel Facilities

The hostel in vit is also good here we 2,3,4 bedded rooms with ac and non-ac and we can have 2types of catering for mess and 3 types of mess are available with veg, nonveg, special after seeing these facilities I decided to stay in a hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 107500 per year

Admission

We have completed 12th in any respective boards with a min percentage of 75 in all subjects later we have to write an entrance exam belongs to the university and after releasing the entrance exam results university will conduct a counseling process and we can select our preferred groups and there is no reservation in this university and later university will allocate a seat based on our rank all the details related to entrance exam can be seen in their own website.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
