Course Curriculum Overview

The course and the curriculum are good. I choose MBA because I love this course. The faculty-student ratio is 5:1. All the faculties are highly qualified. And their teaching method is also good. Within the accurate period, all the mid-semester and semesters are conducted and that is to be fairly and proper.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 281500 per year

Marketing Intern, Financial Intern, HR Intern. SBI, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, SAIL RSP, Millet Mission, ORMAS, Amul, Afcons. So these are the companies that visit our campus for placement and internships.

Placement Experience

The placement of our campus is good. Delloite, Berger Paints, Tech Mahindra, SBI, etc. are coming to campus for our placements. The average placement package is 8 lakhs PA and the highest package is 12 lakh p.a. After completing the MBA degree I will be doing in the field of HR or Marketing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester are 1,49,500. And the whole 2-year fee is 5,49,500. Compared to other B schools NIT MBA fees are less. The company who are visiting our campus is Delloite, Tech Mahindra, SBI, Berger Paints, etc., and many more companies.

Campus Life

Various types of the fest are organized by the different clubs of the NIT. In November we had our Technical fest. And recently in January, we had our Cosmo Fest. And next in March, we will be having our NITR Utsav. We have our central library. There you can find any kind of book and journal. We had smart classrooms. Yes, there used to sport on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

After the admission you will be given the hostels. You will be staying 2 persons in a room. 2 bed will be there. One shelf. And two study tables and chairs will be given. The meal quality and menu is good. You will be given food 4 times a day.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

The admission process was very fair. I gave MAT entrance exam. The student who scores 60% or above is eligible. They can give entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT. You can find all the details on the NIT website. 60% or 6.5 CGPA for General Students. 6.0 CGPA or 55% in the case of SC/ ST. From my side the admission process was good.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

NIT ROURKELA THE ACTUAL REVIEW

I had a choice for chemical engineering in NIT Calicut,kerala my home state but i was not interested in chemistry so I dropped that choice and preferred electrical engineering in NIT Rourkela because choosing this would be more related to core and computer field which also was the one I was interested in.
