I choose this course because I was interested in computers. This college is good for cse. The ratio of faculty and students is 1:15.Qualification of faculty members is also doctorate and teaching experience minimum of 5 years.6 months is 1 sem. the exam is not strictly difficult.

Internship opportunities are given in a well-structured manner. Faculty member placement shell boosts students through various events for placements. it is a very good college for placements in big MNCs.

I hear, in this college students are eligible for placement after the 5th semester. I think the highest package is 32 lakh per year. And the lowest package is 5 lakh per year. my plans after getting I want to M.Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fees are 70000 per semester. I am a hosteller. The hostel fee is 33300 per sem. I don't know if there are scholarships or not. There are 100 percent placement opportunities. The student get a stipend on the basis of their placement package.

Campus Life

Basically, I am from West Bengal. so my eating problem was here. But I try to manage the food. now I eat the food of the hostel. Various types of sports are available like cricket volleyball football etc and clubs also.

Admission

60% marks of H.S.And also ranking card of any joint entrance. I find the application form from Google. Then I fill the form in google. In admission, I get one dress .application fee is one thousand one hundred.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
