Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I wish to study modern technologies. I wish to learn data science as I made it my profession. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15 as every 15 students in our department have a personal mentor to guide them. The teachers have a minimum qualification as a Master's Degree and some of the teachers have completed Ph.D. as. There will be two internal exams for each semester and these results are used as internal marks.
Internships Opportunities
Coming to the internship, we have to search on our own. The college doesn't involve in this. But coming to Project, the department allots a project in charge of faculty for every group of three or four students.
Placement Experience
Students from the 7th semester are eligible for the placements. There are many companies that visit our college. It includes Accenture, TCS, Wipro and etc. The average package is around 3.6 LPA. Around 90% of students are placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are fixed for each year both for the management as well as the government quota students. The fees for the years are 1,60,000/yr for the 2,3 and the 4th year for the management quota. For the government quota, the fee is around 80000/ yr. The scholarship available are as same as the government schemes. Extra scholarships are available for the students affected by "Thane cyclone", wards of the staff members as well as the sports talented students.
Campus Life
The annual fests will be conducted every year as college day. Tech fests will also be conducted by each department as symposiums once a year. Monthly events will also be conducted by the student clubs. There is a huge library in the new building which contains two floors which have a variety of books and also ebooks. There are student clubs for each department and It is also active.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is just similar to that of the other courses. you have to be passed the 10 + 2 or equivalent exam with at least 60 % aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and maths. You can find the application on our college website srmvalliammai.ac.in .
