UIT at a Glance

I have chosen Electrical Engineering Course as I am very fond of using Electrical Equipment since childhood and same I have an interest in The faculties Electronic Gadgets. Faculties are very Helpful and Good. They are always ready to deliver their vast Knowledge to Students. Mostly all faculties have done their Ph.D. from IIT Or NIT. Semester exams are a little bit tough although anybody could easily pass them easily if they study and if they attend college Regularly.

Internships are offered by Placement Cell which is Training and Placement Officers in Various modes remote or Onsite. Various companies like Bharat Heavy Electricals, L and T came to provide internships

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, TCL, IOCL, etc visits at the time of interview and placement. Average salary 4.2 LPA and highest 22 LPA. Almost all students who don't want to do higher studies got placed.

There is a little bit hike in fees recently in the college although it is very affordable to all as it is a govt college The govt doesn't sponsor its fees. You can apply for Scholarship in NSP or Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

Annual fees have different names each year and they are conducted after the Completion of the Odd semester exam in the month of February. There is a Vast Library in the College itself where you could found nearly 30000 books. The classroom is quite good and equipped with Projector and Smartboards. There is a tech fest and coding challenges occur frequently with in colleges and universities and also Sports events like Football, Cricket, and Volleyball events also occur. USCO has many Social Media platforms like a YouTube channel, an Instagram page where you could find many interesting things.

Rooms are good enough to accommodate 3 beds with 24*7 Electricity supply and Well lighted rooms. The meal provided is not too good but okay according to the price we pay that is only 50 rupees per meal. You have to apply to Hostel in charge before the allotment of the room.

Firstly if you want to take admitted to this college then you have to Appear and Qualify WBJEE or JEE Mains Examination and then after the counseling process, you could opt for the college. You can get benefits of Reservation in this college and also TFW Benefits could be obtained for the tuition fees. The remaining vacant seats after counseling are filled by Decentralised counseling conducted at College Campus according to vacancy and Ranks.
