Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is as it of any other IIMs. It is on par with all the premier B-schools. The faculty is well qualified and many industry experts acquired their doctorates from renowned universities with vast knowledge in the field. The college strictly follows the academic calendar when it comes to exams and other activities
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities were good, but there is a still s scope for more. Companies like BNY, Morgan Stanley, Britannia, Jio Creative Labs, and Crompton came in for internship opportunities. There were also a number of start-ups.
Placement Experience
The placement is doing great and are rising every year. There was a growth of about 23% in the average package from last year. It will soon reach the level of some of the 2nd generation IIMs. And as soon as the permanent campus is ready, it will be on the rise.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the course is as generous as in all the b-schools. The ROI is 1:1. The fee structure is available for everyone on the website and can be easily accessed. There are no hidden charges. Only the mess fee is to be paid separately. There are options for scholarships for international students and also for the EWS category.
Campus Life
Life is college is still not on per with the older IIMs, obviously because the permanent campus is under construction. But the campus life experience mostly comes from peers, and friends and the learning experience, which is amazing. The new campus has one of the biggest stadiums in any of the IIMs. The new campus will be functional in a few months
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good. The mess food is also better than expected with a varied menu to prevent boredom and also the hygiene is well maintained. There are recreational sports available in the hostel, such as gym equipment, table tennis, and carrom.
Admission
Eligibility Took CAT and scored 91.5 percentile. The cut-off was 92 for the CAP process. But IIM Bodhgaya also has entry through an exclusive SAP process where evaluation is done on a profile basis. The admission process was smooth and results were announced on time.
Interview Experience
The admission process included a personal interview, which was conducted online due to the pandemic. The topic of the interviews varied, mostly talking about the impact of covid on sports and education.
