Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for the first year includes subjects from all domains like IT and analytics, finance, marketing, operations, and ob/hr. The student-faculty ratio is 14:1. Faculty have good educational backgrounds with education from elite institutes of India (IIT, IIM, NIT, ICAI, etc.). Exams and extra curriculum activities can be maintained by putting in regular efforts.

Internships Opportunities

Prominent banks like BNY, icici, Hdfc and IT companies like Tiger analytics, synclature. Students placed in finance and marketing domain on regular basis. Apart from these domain manufacturing companies like Crompton Greaves also hires.

Placement Experience

People sit for summer internships from 2nd semester and final placement from 4th semester. 100 companies visited with Adani, Amazon, Icici, hdfc, and other prominent banks. Average 16 LPA and the highest 48.58 LPA. 100% placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees overall are 750000 per year, adding other costs, the cost to study is around 900000 per year. Fees hike is around 10-15% per year. Additional cost sits around 150000 per year. Scholarships are provided in a need-based scenario.

Campus Life

Annual fest - Elegante, conducted in December or January. The library has all MBA-related books and case studies. Sports events are organized at regular intervals. Arthshastra, finix, Opsim, and HR club are a few to name when it comes to clubs.

Hostel Facilities

A cupboard, bed, and table are given at the time of registration. Food is okay. Mess fees go around 14000 for three months. The menu is versatile and includes food from multiple cuisines. The hostel is mandatory to apply.

Admission

I got selected for the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. I took CAT as an entrance exam and scored 91.97 percentile. The minimum eligibility to apply for CAT is to have a government-recognized undergraduate certificate. After clearing the overall and sectional cut-off in the entrance exam, I was shortlisted for the SAP process where a personal interview happened. After the SAP process, the institute shortlists candidates based on PI and marks. EOI and Documents need to be filled after that. EOI opens around March, no fees are needed for the same. The application form needed to be filled along with the CAT form, which opens in September.

"Happy MBA days at Cimage centre of digital technology"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MBA course in Cimage centre of digital technology for its focus on practical skills like leadership and strategic thinking, which I wanted to develop. It prepares me well for real world jobs with case studies and projects. I suggest adding more detail tools and industry trends to the curriculum. Exam 2 semester per year, well spaced but challenging some questions are tricky. Overall it's a solid course.

The courses were harvard style case methodologies mostly, which could have been better with more practical exercises and examples. Simulation exercises were also their but not that effective. Teaching methods were ppt based.

Life at IIM BG

Placement Experience:

The median package is around 16L, and the average is around 14.5. 1st year students have to sit for the Summer Internship Process compulsorily, and in 2nd-year Final placements take place. The campus has recruiters from top companies for both processes and an excellent track record of 100%. I plan to impact society by making this a better place to live through informed decisions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want a career in this and the faculty is too good. They always co-operate with us. They also took care of us. The professors are too good they took classes regularly and honestly speaking teachers are soo good they never frustrate us no matter how many times we will ask the same questions.

Remarks:

1. Being from bihar, i preferred IIM Bodhgaya over other IIMs seat offered to me.2. RoI - Tution fee is less as compared to other IIMs and median salary is high.3. The institute was in its early years (just 5 years old) so would get to learn a lot and maybe implement new things in there just like a start up.

Students start to get offers from the start of the second year. The regular visiting companies are ITC, HUL, Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC AMC, HDFC Ltd., BFIL, Prism Jhonson Cement, Uttkarsh Small Finance Bank, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, TATA Advanced Systems, COMFED, JEEVIKA, TATA Power DDL etc. The average placement varies from 7-8 LPA every year. and has a record of 100 % placement since inception. I would be pursuing a job in finance sector after completion.

Inside story of IIM Bodhgaya

JIPMAT is a mcq based entrance test with 100 questions from 3 subjects, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. The difficulty is moderate and sums up to a reliable test overall. You are selected based on your composite score of 3 subjects if you qualify for cutoffs of each subject individually.
