Review @NSUT @ProductDesign

Even though I scored decent in Jee for cse in NITs outside my hometown, I chose this course out of my own passion towards this field. The existing faculties are good and but the college is still recruiting for our Product Design branch with some of them from DTU, IIT Delhi to name a few. It was easy to moderate to pass the mid-term exams with level going slightly up for the end-term exams with JURY being the toughest of them all.

Internships are there from companies like Uber, Goldman sachs, Microsoft with stipends going upto 1.5 lacs per month. Projects and roles are plenty with tech being the lead in both placements and internships

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Almost every top company visits NSUT with Goldman sachs, Tower Research, Google, Sprinkler, Amazon to name a few. Highest goes above 1 Crore CTC with average being around 14 LPA for all branches and 19LPA for Computer science and its related branches.

The fees are of the same amount as other govt engineering colleges and significantly lesser than govt design colleges like NID, NIFT. Scholarship and financial assistance is given as per criteria laid down by govt of NCT of Delhi. Placement is on par with Top 3 NITs with packages going upto 1 Crore CTC and above

Annual fest- Moksha (Inter-college), Resonanz( Inter-college) Techfest- Innovision. Library- almost everything can be found in our centralized library. Classrooms are great with APJs being the best as they are newly constructed ones with all facilities. Sports and extra curricular activities are plenty. Many clubs/ societies/ websites are there in the campus ranging from academics to culturals and pretty much everything.

Hostel and mess is ok with newly constructed ones being the best. Registration is lengthy and requires patience, but affordability wise its great and its very easy for outside Delhi students to get hostels.

At NSUT(formerly NSIT), the infrastructure for Design department is still in progress but it doesn't halt the opportunities that the college is providing through other department labs, expert faculties from reputed govt Colleges and industries. Exposure is top notch as our college is situated at Dwarka itself with superior metro connectivity. Placement Wise the college has always been on Par with Top 3 NITs and being in Product Design course itself gives mountains worth of placement opportunities since the field is high in demand currently. The only drawbacks are the strict admin, attendance issues.
