Course Curriculum Overview

The qualification of faculty is a PhD. Degree. And their teaching quality is not that much level of an extremely experienced faculty, But if you want to study, then you can easily get a lot of help. Tests occur every month. A total of four tests for theory papers and two tests for practicals happen in the semester.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 4,00,000 for a total of four years. But their no scholarships available for outsiders. The placement rate is good for CSIT students, but for electrical it is really bad. The highest package of our department is 6,00,000, and the average is 2,50,000.

Campus Life

There are two annual fest and many small events that happen every month. But there is no such great exposure. And a very less amount of books are available in the library, which also gets out of stock as soon as possible. There is some time Inter college level sports happen, which is quite impressive. Our college is at a good level in sports because of the students.

Admission

The admission process is simple as you can go directly to get admission, or you can go through counselling also which is based on Wbjee and jee marks. Admission starts in April months and ends in August.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
