I chose this course because in computer software nowadays too many scopes. So I came to this college. There are 1200 students in engineering and about 100 faculty available for engineering courses. The teaching method is not excellent but we can say very good.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

After the sixth semester, you will eligible for campus placement. Many companies are coming to my college like cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Tata, and many more. The highest package is 40 lakh and the 5 to 6 lakh average package. About 95 percent of students are placed here. I have to do better for my company and also for my personal life.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a very less costly engineering college where you can pursue computer software with a budget of only 10 lakh which is very less in comparison to many other colleges. You can also fill out many scholarship schemes but not any from college.

Campus Life

There are many fests are organized like Lohri, Navratri, and many more. The library is very good here, you can find all types of books here. In sports, you can play all types of games like basketball, cricket, football, and many indoor games like chess, badminton, tennis, etc. but the playground is very small. The class is smart classroom ac, fans projector, all are available every class. Many social groups are here like NCC, NSS, and many more.

Admission

The first thing is that you have to pass intermediate with PCM and 60% above marks in the PCM subject. There will be no reservation benefits here. There is a very good process for admission. You can fill out the form on chitkara University's official site and you can fill it then they will contact you soon.

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
