Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because im interested in an electronic devices. College faculty of the qualification is Bed, Med, and BHD. The teacher is qualified. The time of term exams is below six months and easy to pass the exam.

Companies like TATA, MARUTI SUZUKI, INFOSYS, WIPRO, FLIPKART, AMAZON, etc with data analysts, IT sector, sales executives, engineer civil engineers, Software Engineers, and software developers with high stipends.

Placement Experience

Placements have been done in our college every year by companies like Flipkart, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, WIPRO, etc. The placement ratio is good. Last year in 2022 many students got a placement with the higher packages in big companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is average to other IT colleges. The college provides SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MERIT CUM MEANS MUSLIM MINORITY (SVMCM) scholarship in west Bengal, The average amount of scholarship for each student is 600,00(per year).

Campus Life

Campus life is good also Canteen. They conduct many tech and annual fest. Alumni talk, Digital Talent Hunt, Guess Speaker, SLOGAN COMPETITION, CODING CUP CHALLENGE, and also conducted sports like football tournament DKN MEMORIAL CUP.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is 12th. I find the Application form and application fees on online websites and also provided by the college the institution is approved by AICTE - New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), The admission process is good I don think any improvement need.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I feel proud being a student of Gmit

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
