I have chosen this course because I had a good command of Biology related concepts and I did my schooling(10th, 12th) in biology as the main subject. Also, bioengineering has many future scopes. Faculty: student ratio is good. Every student has an opportunity to ask their study-related doubts even after the class hour in the respective faculty's cabin. Apart from this, each student is assigned one faculty whom he/she can contact if they have any queries. All faculties are Ph.D. holders so they have a very good understanding and knowledge of their respective subjects. The teaching method is excellent which includes group activities, presentations, real-time projects, faculty-student interaction, coordination, cooperation, and teaching every concept in such a manner that everyone can understand it.

Pharma Genie Compliance and MANIT Institute offered an internship for bioengineering students with no stipend and extra internship fees. Projects were related to bioinformatics, quality assurance, GMP, BET validation, etc. The task was to design a riboswitch-based drug for zika virus disease.

Students become eligible for campus placements from their 6th semester and in their final year. Companies visited are Zifo RnD, Biocon, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, GSK, Amazon, etc. and no. of offers made are like around 90% of students were placed. The highest package was 12LPA in bioengineering and the average package was 3LPA. Every student will get a placement if they follow the placement process appropriately and honestly.

There is no fees hike policy, your annual fees will remain same as discussed with you during your admission by admission office team member. Cost to study Bioengineering in VIT Bhopal is approx. 2 Lakhs per annum which includes your laboratory charge, tuition fees, and other facilities. There is one STAR scholarship program for government school 12th class students where they will get free education for the entire course duration(4 years) if the student is a District topper in their board exam. Campus jobs facility is available during the final year where you will get placement offers from many companies if you satisfied the criteria and successfully cleared the interview process.

Life at the Campus is awesome. VIT Bhopal University held AdVITya every year as their annual fest and tech fest. It is conducted mostly during new year months like January or February. All learning materials and subject-related books are available in the library. There is a good collection of course-related books and journals. Classrooms are well structured with projectors, tables, chairs, etc. There are so many activities conducted by different clubs on campus including sports, dance, debates, dramas, competitions, workshops, seminars, and so on. Each extracurricular club has its social group and website for students which is run by the student coordinator of that respective club, for example, Dance club, Sports club, Tech club, etc.

All 12th-class students having biology as their stream or field and scoring 60% or more in their board exams are eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Bioengineering Course. The admission process is smooth and faster, with no need for any improvement.
