Course Curriculum Overview
I can't say about other branches but the course curriculum is not that good nor that bad for our branch. we have workshops and some practical labs where we get information which is relevant for the future in the civil department whereas some of the subjects are irrelevant like engineering economics which doesn't have any value in the civil engineering line. the faculty student ratio is somewhere between 1:30 And most of them are well educated and knowledgeable and experienced to give us the knowledge we require and it is easy to pass in the sems one can pass by studying just one night before the exams.
Placement Experience
Technically it offers campus placement in which only a bunch of students get placed. the main problem is that the amount of companies coming for taking placement is very less ..the training and placement cell has to work on it to increase the number of companies investing in our college because many very bright students don't get a placement and have to opt for off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is such that most of the students have to give a fair price like we pay 42000 per year for academic benefits and tuition fee examination fees combined which is okay for me and some students get the benefit of tfw scheme where they have to pay only 19000 per year but the benefit is got by only one boy and one girl per branch every year and others can apply for state national different varieties of scholarship in which college helps them to some extent
Campus Life
To be honest, our college doesn't connect tech fest at all as I have never heard anyone telling about a tech fest happening in igit Sarang but yes annual fest was conducted every year but since covid, it's been shelved also let's see this year will it happen or not and yes every student different branch fests happen at least. All the sports and extra curriculum activities happen in our college field and for indoor games we have two badminton courts and one basketball court ... Yes we have all sorts of groups or clubs for different activities..
Admission
The admission process is on the basis of rank secured in jee main exam. the application process after it is through ojee website where we have to choose the course we want to study on the basis of our interest and priority and then on the basis of your Rank and reservation benefits (if any) you will get a seat according to the choices you have filled.
