Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.Sc. life sciences because I want to study zoology botany and chemistry all in one course that's why I choose it. The atmosphere of the college is very nice teachers are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching method is so nice they make a friendly environment for students. There is a semester system at DU but before the final exam, we have soo many tests taken by our teachers to evaluate us for an internal exam.
Internships Opportunities
I have done 3-4 internships till now with college Internshala is also promoted in college which is a nice platform for the internship of your choice many roles are offered by companies with good stipends like sales manager, team manager, HR, etc.
Placement Experience
In the last year of college students are eligible for placement and a society called placement cell which is run by students deals with all placement in college 85% of students get placed every year. I am going to pursue masters after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
One year's fee for each course varies as I am pursuing B.Sc. in life sciences, my course fees are around 19k per year which is affordable. Many scholarships come during college which you will know during the session. In the last year of college, you will get placement from college on a good salary package. Also, you have so many chances to do internships with big companies like google, amazon, Internshala, etc. with a good stipend per month.
Campus Life
The annual fest occurs in March. Many functions of college societies are occurring as vigzest, etc. The library is very large and has so many books. Many societies are in our college like dance, singing, drama, CDF, NSS, and so many departmental societies.
Admission
I got admission to Miranda House college of Delhi university my admission is merit-based. I come under the OBC category so I got a reservation as per norms relaxation in merit percentage. The admission process is quite good and from 2023 onwards DU conducts entrance for admission in any degree.
