Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to build a career in IT. 4.1 is the student ratio over here. The faculty members are Ph.D. holders and experts in their domain. The exams (internal and external) were conducted timely and if you study regularly you can easily pass the exams.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All major companies participated in the internship drive. Projects were related to all the domains. From FS Tech, Cyber-Security, and Business Analysts we had everything. The project involved research. presentations and idea pitching.

Placement Experience

from 3rd semester, people are eligible for placements. Companies are good and offer that are made are also good. Placement-related statistics are also available on the college portal. Almost all the people are done with the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee remains the same throughout the course. As of now, there are scholarship options that are present only for international students and there are summer training programs as well(paid as well) that are present for the students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is great, we have a lot of competitions around and there is a lot to do around. The library is well-equipped with books and we also get material from teachers to study on. The classrooms are well-built and appropriate for studies. All equipment for sports is also available. There are many student and college-driven committees in college as well.

Hostel Facilities

The room has all the facilities, Meal quality is okay. The registration process is smooth and the Hostels are also good. The locality is also secluded and we have been provided the facility from the college which in totality is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

I selected this college through SNAP. The eligibility was that I needed to have 60% at least in my graduation. No there are no reservation benefits that I availed. The admission process was very smooth.

Interview Experience

GD topics were not that tough, interview questions were around workex and the test pattern was the same as it was experienced in SNAP. The process was very smooth and the criteria for admission were also very pre-defined. I prepared by surfing the internet and some additional resources.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. The admission in SIU Institutes are done on two basis 1.Snap Score 2. GEPIWAT Process. There are three Snap tests from which you can opt for two tests(Now this year you can opt for all 3). Once Snap test scores are declared on basis of that shortlisting is done for GEPIWAT Round for different institutes. Different GEPIWAT round is conducted for different institutes.
