Entrance Preview

I had passed the MAT Exam and had all India Rank of 982. I had taken admission in PGDM before coming to BIIB Pune. The old score was useful here.

Placement Experience

Yes, placement and job opportunities are provided by the college. Most of the students were selected in Coal India Ltd. Some of were selected in airtel. The salary during training ranged from Rs 35,000 p.m. to 55,000 p.m.

Fee Structure And Facilities

All the charges are subsidized and at nominal rates. Compared to the private universities of India, we are paying the college fees. Lots of funds are available for the students and professors for the proper utilization. We students can go abroad with institute funding, if selected.

Along with the academics and a healthy set of cultural and co-curricular activities, our consistent interaction with industry Expertise viz. workshops, guest lectures, seminars, mentorship, informal interactions and so on, help us to serve not just a management course, but a wholesome meal to satiate the hunger of aspiring socially responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a very strong alumni network in BIIB. The alumni are spread all over the world. We have an alumni hall in the Institute Main Building and we get lots of Gift Items from there. The alumni are interacting with the professors of the respective departments and who ever student goes abroad,the alumni take care of him/her and help a lot.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Because I wanted to pursue MBA in International Business and in India only few colleges offer this course. And according to my cutoff, I got here. Plus the average package came out to be good. Also the most interesting thing is that during selection process, they consider your overall performance rather than just focusing on the CAT,XAT, etc score.
