Entrance Preview

I took the MAT examination and got a good marks. I took this course in order to pursue my interest in the field of PGDM and it's applications. BIIB is the oldest and one of the most reputed college.

Internships Opportunities

Every company has different stipends. Investment banks like Deutsche Bank provide stipends up to 10,000 for the two months summer internship period along with other perks like accommodation in a 5-star hotel for a week and commuting fare.

Placement Experience

This college are well-known for their placements and job opportunities. Tests for various companies start in following potential candidates are short listed. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon (coding firms) and Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse investment banks coming for recruitment.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is equal i think. There are a variety of cultural societies and workshops held all year long at BIIB. These include societies pertaining to music, dance, debating, art, etc. Students can participate in these and learn a lot. Societies like that of robotics can help a student plan a career in this field too.

Tend to have the best and the most reputed faculty across the country. Thus, all the teachers are highly knowledgeable and experts in their fields. They have several research papers published in reputed journals. In every semester, some teachers become one's favorites, primarily due to their teaching style.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Because I wanted to pursue MBA in International Business and in India only few colleges offer this course. And according to my cutoff, I got here. Plus the average package came out to be good. Also the most interesting thing is that during selection process, they consider your overall performance rather than just focusing on the CAT,XAT, etc score.
