Course Curriculum Overview
Since from the start I was interested in the core itself so I opted for this branch. The Faculty-student ratio is about 1:20 which is not so bad but can be improved in the future to help the students in a better way. The minimum qualification of the faculty must be at least BTech, MTech, or PhD and at least he/she had an experience of 5 years in that domain in which he/she is interested. The teaching methods are quite good but can improve as technology has done a lot in recent past years. There are two exams within a single semester named as mid-semester exam and end semester examination. To be honest, the engineering exams are not that tough, they can be passed with average to good marks if you start preparing them seriously a week before an exam.
Internships Opportunities
Many tech companies each year and hire students for an internship. Most companies require students from a coding background only. Those who have good CGPA in their branch they are also offered some internships but they are very few in number as compared to tech internships. The company like Citibank oracle Accenture JP Morgan etc offer internships with stipends of about 15000-20000 per month. Since I am a 2nd-year student so I don't know about the projects
Placement Experience
The campus placements are excellent. The students get internships during 3rd year and after 3rd year student is eligible for placement. In 2022, the total number of companies visited was more than 220 and they made more than 850 offers. The highest package was 64 lakhs in the coding segment CSE Branch. The average package of college remains about 10 lakhs. More than 75% of the students get placed others opt for higher studies. The percentage of students placed varies per branch. My plan is to be a civil servant in the engineering domain only. I want to be an IES officer and also prepare for the gate exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is semester wise and the tuition fee for each semester is 66850 rupees. If you are considering the total amount then it will be 2-2.25 lakhs. The whole Btech would take about 8-9 lakhs which are less than IIT fees and way less than that of private college and If you are enrolled in any of the scholarships then it is very beneficial for you. I am from Madhya Pradesh so M.P. Govt. provides me MMVY Scholarship annually which is a great financial assistance for me. The campus helps you to get various internships as well in your BTech period.
Campus Life
The Annual cultural fest of our college is "AAROHI" and is conducted in the month of September and the Annual technical fest is "AXIS" which is conducted in the month of April. These are Central India's Largest fests. Our central library is quite huge with a collection of over 200000 books and journals in it. The reading room is open 24 hours for boys and for girls it is open till 10:30 at the night. We have several amenities in our college like Graden's cafeteria labs gym etc. which makes the college attractive.
Hostel Facilities
I live in the second-year hostel which is hostel block 8. It was constructed long back. There are 3 almirahs 2 tube lights 2 fans appropriate space along with a balcony as well. The accommodation facilities are ok. The mess food is average someday it is good and some day it is below average as well. The menu has several varieties such as Poha idli-sambhar wada pani puri paneer khichdi ice-cream methi matar malai etc. The registration process is sperate for the hostel and hostel registration is done every semester. It is done online and the average cost of mess+hostel charges is about 74000 per year which is not so high. Since I live in a hostel so I can't say anything about PG.
Admission
I had appeared in JEE Mains examination and scored an AIR of 41000 in 2021, so I became eligible for the NITs.The eligibility for the taking admission to my college is to get AIR under 50000 if you are from the general category. After your result is declared you have to undergo a systematic process of counselling. The JOSAA and CSAB are the counselling through which you are allowed the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.The application form becomes active after your final jee main result. The whole process of Counselling is available on the websites of JOSAA and CSAB. You can visit it once after your jee mains for the further details. If you are financially weak
