Entrance Preview

I gave HP CET entrance exam i choose this college because As the college came into picture just about years back so infrastructure is very well organized for students welfare. Faculty is very helpful and friendly. Dance Society and fashion society of this college always gets first position.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. It has a variation. It is based on modern needs for skills from students. It is equipped with practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Curriculum is pretty interesting and easy too. You don't need to study much to get good marks. Exams are not too tough and there is enough time to prepare.

Placement Experience

Most of the final year students were placed last year. This year placement is not yet started as companies have not started coming. Also placements are getting better every year so lets hope for the best this year. The average package is 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

3.5

College is situated in one of the most prime location. So all the students are generally from big schools and are generally very rich. So crowd is exceptionally incomparable. Also girls ratio is generally high as most the girls are from good family so they are really very pretty.

Faculty

Faculty are generally very experienced ones. Most of them have their subject knowledge so they can help students easily. Teachers takes keen interest in explaining each and every topic clear to their students. Faculties are very well graduated from top colleges.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains.
