NSUT, Delhi

I chose this course as it seemed to have the best placement opportunities at my rank. Student to faculty ratio here is not up to the mark. The faculty here is very qualified, but most of them are not keenly interested in teaching. Term exams often get their dates shifted, and difficulty is medium, but professors do anything to make you fail.

Most big companies come for internships, like Google, ms, and Uber. About 1/4th of the batch is able to get an on-campus internship Around 80% of them convert their PPOs There are internships from abroad as well, mine was based out of USA(remote)

The placements at our college are definitely almost the best in the country. After the end of the 6th semester, you become eligible to sit in the placements. The highest package offered was 83lpa CTC, by Atlassian, the lowest can go to 5lpa CTC. Avg for computer sciens5should be around 20lpa, while for the college around 12 LPA All the eligible students always get placed. Best companies in India visit NSUT for placements, however, a lot of students decide to pursue higher studies as well.

Fees keep increasing substantially every academic year. There are a few scholarships for students but most of them are for students who have some form of reservation. I got a job with 35lpa CTC through on-campus placements.

Life at the campus is happening to say the least. Fests like moksha(cultural fest) are conducted in March every year and innovation is conducted in oct(tech fest), both see a very healthy attendance. The library is only filled with academic books. Some classrooms are good, some are very old, and the campus has almost every sport available as a facility. There are a lot of societies and clubs in the college, in each segment.

To be eligible for B.tech courses in NSUT, you need to give JEE mains exam. Application to the college is done through JAC Delhi, which also includes DTU, IIITD, and IGDTU. The process is good, would just hope for it to be more streamlined and punctual
