Entrance Preview

I took HP CET and I choose to study this college for the standard of faculty and library facilities. Around the college in Shoolini University,Solan this is one if the premier institutes who has offered lot of benefits.This is the best college i have selected for myself

Placement Experience

Many companies visit the college for the campus placements and the package at my time ranged between 2.5 LPA-4.2 LPA. As a fresher the package is good. As its usually the first job so package does not matter,what matters is the company you are working with. At my time the many companies visited the campus for placements.

Students from all over the world come to study here, you get variety of students. We have different societies in our college, you have a hobby you will find a society for it. All of them are good and recognized.According to my experience about the college my experience was excellent in almost every field.

Alumni network of my college especially for engineering department was very strong and helpful. before joining the college i had a talk with the seniors of the college asking about their views about the college and they really helped me a lot with their honest reviews.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains. I don't really remember the colleges I applied for from whom I got confirmed admission forms, I chose this college over the NIRF ranking and it is also close to my hometown.
