A General Review Of NSUT

I chose this course because my rank wasn't that good to go for a good branch in any NIT whereas ICE at NSUT is well-established and a good course for both tech and non-tech placements. I believe that there are slightly fewer faculties relative to the requirement. Faculty here at NSUT are well experienced and highly qualified and their teaching method suits all students. Exams are held regularly. From class tests, mid-semester, and practical to end-semesters all are planned perfectly to enhance learning. The exams are easy to pass if one has a basic grip on the topics.

College placements here at NSUT are considered to be one of the best ones can get from any college in India. People engage in internships from the 2nd and take placements from the 3rd year onwards. All the big companies one can think of visit the campus for placements being it MAANG. The highest package offered was around INR 1.25 Cr. and the average package was INR 120000. The highest packages are offered for tech placements regarding roles of Software Developers. Around 90% of the students get placements. I am considering taking placements in the tech field too.

Fees for the 1st year B.Tech students are INR 219000 which will rise to INR 250000 for the 4th year. I haven't availed of any scholarship. NSUT offers financial assistance to those students who are financially weak.

Many fests are organized around the year at NSUT. The main fest is "MOKSHA" which is organized roughly around the end of March. There are other cultural and technical fests like TeckWeek (Organized by IEEE), Resonanz, etc. In the central library, one can find any book one's needs. Classrooms are very spacious with high quality and comfortable seats with charging ports below the table for each seat. Classrooms have 4 ACs, digital screens, and computers for lectures, open Wi-Fi, speaker system. Classrooms are more or less like small auditorium halls. Various sports facilities are provided in the college and one can hear about some sports competitions going on at any time. There are a lot of clubs aka societies which have events every now and then. NSUTx is an app created by a student which has all the features from attendance, PYQ, syllabus, and Notices to exam results.

Selection in NSUT is based on the score in JEE Main exam. I scored 96.32 percentile in JEE Mains 2022 and AIR 33108. I applied for JAC Delhi counselling which allots seats in NSUT, DTU, IIITD, IGDTUW and DSEU. I got ICE in 1st round of counselling. JAC Delhi counselling starts after The final JEE Mains result in the declaration. Fees for B.Tech in NSUT hovers around INR 220000-250000 / year. There is a huge reservation of 85% for Delhi region students. I belong to Delhi so I have availed that reservation. Cutoffs vary according to JEE situations in that particular year.
