Likes

I liked that along with studies cultural and co curricular activities are also there.
Sports and non teaching faculty is also good everyone is nice to students
We have sports facilities as well and afyer classes we enjoy it as well

Dislikes

The admin block is a bot frustrating and weve to circle ober there for little things
The ground os not big enough to play all the games at a time
Canteen is sometimes suffocating althoigh oy os bog enough bit sometimes ot feels so rish there

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course as I was interested in bringing a computer student, faculty to student ratio is not that bad, teachers are well qualified as per my knowledge. Exam and all processes are quite a on time.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 22470 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for government colleges is not that much, it was affordable for me but the residing charges are high here in the locality. I belong to up so I applied for the inspire scholarship I got good marks in my exams so I got the scholarship as well.

Campus Life

We've our annual fest named SABRANG it is a 2-day event in the college premises and everyone enjoys it well. We have the best class amenities, library in our college having a collection of over 1 lac plus books there. Campus life is also good here.

Admission

Got admission to the course on a merit basis, and the admission process was easy I was able to do it without any hustle. Reservation was there for girls i.e 1 percent and others for sc st obc, the fee transaction portal must be more easy and more responsive as it got stuck sometimes.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
