MY UNIVERSITY LIFE

I choose this course because I wanted to be an engineer in my life. The faculty-to-student ratio in the department of my university is there are 70 students in a class and there are 4 years of engineering so there are almost 290 students including leet students, and there are a total of 12 teachers for all 4 years. Most of the teachers in my department are all P.hd and have 20+ years of experience in teaching. The teaching method of the faculty members is quite good. they are all dedicated to their work but not all teachers are the same. some teachers have different mindsets, and so does their way of teaching. There is always a teacher that is like he/she barely takes the class, we also have one. Most of the syllabus is covered within time and whatever syllabus is left is completed by extra classes if the exams are postponed by students' strike to give some time for preparation. As most of the syllabus is completed within the time the exams are not that difficult to pass.

Although my university doesn't offer any internship opportunities. but it helps students get internships available on the internet like Internshala or in any offline company since I am in the 6th semester so I haven't done any internship yet. But I do have done training in Python which I attended at NIELIT Kurukshetra, Haryana. This training was suggested by my university, I haven't done any projects yet. but in the forthcoming semesters, we will be doing several projects definitely.

As I have said earlier the placements on my university campus are not like IITs or NITs. But the one who works hard gets the placements also. Campus placements in my university start in the 4th year i.e. in the 7th or 8th semester. different companies that visit the university campus are NEWGEN, Nagarro, Wipro, quinbay, darcl, cognizant, TCS, IBM, genx, kodak, etc. the highest packed that I heard was when I was in the first year of my graduation. I heard that a student was placed for 20Lacs per annum in a printing company but the job location was in UGANDA country. Although the highest package nowadays is 5.2 to 5.4 lacs per annum. and the average package is around 3.50 lacs per annum. the percentage of students getting placements is around 15 to 20 %. My plan after getting the degree is to get an on-campus job placement.

The fee structure of the university for my course is around Rs. 65000 per year. And the fee per semester is around 30-32k rs. It is very easy to pay the semester fees. the university has adopted the online method of fee deposit. Also, there is a Scholarship cell in the university that helps students give some financial assistance. Scholarship cell works under the Department of Higher Education Haryana's Centralised Scholarship portal offering students different kinds of scholarships. I belong to the BC category in the state of Haryana so I applied for the Post Metric Scholarship Scheme For BC students. But only those students can avail the benefit of scholarship whose family income is less than Rs. 250000. Also the needy students can also get a concession in their fees by contacting the head of the department. Right now at the time of writing the review, I am a pre-final year student but the Campus job opportunities are not like IITs or NITs. But one who studies hard gets the job.

Life at the campus is amazing if you've got good friends. There are various tea stalls around teaching blocks where you can hang out with your friends. The annual fest is organized every year. Like the Holi fest on the HOLI, and the Diwali fest on DIWALI. The Youth fest was also organized last year at the month end of November. It is celebrated every year. Also, various cultural activities are also organized in the CRS Auditorium. National Service Scheme is also active on my campus. There are cultural clubs also like Poetry, Speakthon, Coding, Aptitude, and Udbhavana club. Udaan club is the official cultural club run by students. students run the training and placement website - tpc.gjuonline.ac.in. Sports activities on my campus are also good. An athletic meet is also organized every year along with the annual Sports meet. The Bhangra club is also active that is run by students and they perform very good bhangra in every function. At last, I can say that the social life on this campus is very great.

the eligibility for taking admission into B. Tech is the JEE exam. You have to be appeared in the JEE exam before proceeding for admission. Admission into all government and most private engineering institutions in Haryana state is strictly through the Haryana State Technical Education Society Online Counselling form only. The application fee for online counseling is Rs. 500. And most application for HSTES starts after the declaration of the JEE exam result and mostly in the month of September and October and the result of counseling is declared in almost a month. There will be 2 online counselors and then the remaining seats will be filled by institutions at their own level called institution-level counseling. And the cut-off for the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch is not that high for my university. A student with a 6-7 Lakh Rank in JEE exam can even get admission in case some seat is left by some students who withdraw their admission from the university.
